Proventis

Proventis is pioneering the future of male contraception with a reliable, long-term, reversible implant designed to empower men with proactive family planning.

With unintended pregnancies constituting 40% of annual pregnancies worldwide, there is a growing need for male contraception methods, other than condoms and vasectomy. Our innovative set-and-forget implant will provide men with a reliable contraceptive protection without the need for daily attention or interruption. It is designed to conveniently be placed by a physician in a quick, minimally invasive, in-office procedure, and similarly deactivated upon request, to regain fertility.

At Proventis, we are dedicated to advancing reproductive health through scientific excellence and strategic collaborations. We invite leading urologists, key opinion leaders, and forward-thinking investors to join us on our mission to redefine the landscape of male contraceptives.

The  Solution

The Safe & Reliable In-Office Solution

Minimally invasive male contraception in less than 20 minutes. Proventis develops the first reversible, long-term and reliable contraceptive device for men.

The Technology

The Proventis implant is inserted into the vas deferens using an approach similar to the gold-standard Non-Scalpel Vasectomy (NSV) technique. It blocks sperm flow from reaching the urethra for effective contraception and can be easily unplugged to restore fertility on demand. Both implantation and reversal are minimally invasive and performed by a urologist under local anesthesia in under 20 minutes.

The Market

17M men are looking for contraception that fits their lifestyle and relationship. The growing demand creates a huge market opportunity for innovative solutions such as Proventis.
